Pets Furniture
Born to Trade (B2T) is a well-established family-run furniture importer in Korea, known for its long history. Initially, they manufactured and sold their own products locally, while also serving as the exclusive distributor for internationally renowned furniture brands in Korea.
The family has carefully cultivated a strong reputation in the Korean market, earning widespread popularity over the years. Recently, leadership has been passed on to the second generation, who are now facing new challenges in the modern marketplace.
Taeho, the second-generation leader, is fully aware that simply sticking to the old strategies will result in losing their competitive edge. To adapt, they continue importing popular products from abroad while exploring new consumer markets—such as the pet furniture sector. Since they are less familiar with product development, they sought our help to collaborate on R&D, aiming to create a product with high market potential.

After two months of working through product photos and specifications, we successfully completed the first set of samples. We proposed two material options—melamine board and plywood—based on typical pet behavior and preferences, to meet market needs.
Considering the lifestyles of the target consumers, who often live in smaller spaces and move frequently, we designed a latch system for the plywood version that allows for easy assembly and disassembly, making the product portable and convenient for users.
